"We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at The Bear. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was lovely; warm and cosy with a lovely quaint feel to it. The breakfast was plentiful, hot and enjoyable. Our friends joined us for breakfast and they really enjoyed it too. Many thanks to the staff and hosts at The Bear for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We will return for another stay soon!"

"We had a very pleasant stay. The Bear Inn was recommended to us by our son after he was made to feel so welcome a couple of weeks. The rooms were very comfortable, friendly atmosphere, good food - all very fresh.

The beds are brilliant! The most comfortable I have ever slept in - we wanted to take them home with us. All very clean. Just one thing, perhaps you could adjust windows as with all the trade downstairs the rooms were very hot in the evening and we couldn't open them very wide. Other than that we could not have asked for more and we look forward to coming back soon!"
